Yoga Unveiled - 2004

I was googling yoga movies and found this PBS special and my wonderful wife got it for me for a gift. It's 2 DVD's and is 3 hours and 15 minutes long. It covers a lot.

The movie has a young Doctor Oz in it.

Ram Dass Fierce Grace - 2001

I met Yoga Christy at the 2019 Yogafest and while she was working on my shoulder we were talking about Ram Dass and she brought up this movie. It's intense at times, dealing with loved ones passing and Ram Dass coping with his own stroke. There is one part where parents that lost a child read a letter from Ram Dass. Makes me tear up just thinking about it. I've included a link to the letter incase anyone wants to read it.

AWAKE: The Life of Yogananda - 2014

My wife saw this was playing in the theater and even thou she is not really that into yoga she has an open mind and said let's go. We both ended up really enjoying it.

Paramahansa Yogananda brought yoga and meditation to the West in 1920 and wrote "Autobiography of a Yogi," which both George Harrison to Steve Jobs read. In fact is was the only book Steve Job had loaded on his iPad.
